Visit WebsiteDominic Hofstede founded Re:collection in 2009 as an online repository for Australian graphic design, with an emphasis on work produced between 1960 and 1990. The initiative was developed largely to address the lack of available reference materials concerning this crucial time in the profession. Les Mason's dying in late 2009 brought attention to the need for such a resource. Mason was undoubtedly the most important person in our sector, but there is little any information on his work or career available to the general public. We believed—and still do—that this work merits a venue through which it may educate and inspire additional designers on a local and international scale.
